After graduating from High School, Paul joined the U.S. Marines where he was an honor guard in Washington D.C. and served as one of President Kennedy's guards. Paul married Sheila Perry from New Bedford, Massachusetts and they have two children and three grandchildren. After his discharge from the Marines Paul worked for the Atlas Tack Co. for five years then moved on to the My Bread Co. with a supervisory position and was with the company for thirty-five years. He is now retired doing what he enjoys and he and Sheila reside in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
