After graduating from High School Ellen attended Radcliffe College and married David Staelin three days after graduating. Ellen has been mother and housewife for all of her adult life. Her and David have three children and three grandchildren. Ellen and David reside in Wellesley, Massachusetts and are looking forward to returning to Mattapoisett, Massachusetts to occupy a vacation home they built in 1979.
