After graduating from High School Ted worked with his Dad as a carpenter for ten years then worked for Endeco Oceanographic Equipment in Marion, Massachusetts. Ted worked his way up the ladder to a managements position with Endeco then Ted decided to start his own oceanographic instrument business (Applied Technology Associates) and to date has been very successful. Ted married Doris Bergeron from Acushnet, Massachusetts in 1961 and they have now been happily married for 42 years. Ted and Doris have three children and nine grandchildren. Ted and Doris reside in Acushnet, Massachusetts and Ted continues to work in his business at his leisure.
