After graduating from FHS, Bob joined the Navy serving as a dental technician and spent most of his enlistment aboard two different heavy cruisers in the Mediterranean. After the Navy, Bob went to work for New Bedford Gas & Edison Light Co. (now NStar) working in various positions in Customer Services and Human Resources. Bob is retired, married with two sons and two grandchildren. He spends a lot of time on home improvement projects of various types and plays an occasional round of golf. Bob and his wife Helen live in Dartmouth.
