After graduating from High School, Bob joined the U.S. Marines and served for four years. He married his High School sweet heart Diane Despres in 1961 and they have been happily married for forty-two years. Bob was employed at the Acushnet Rubber Co. as Quality Control Manager. He and Diane have four children and three grandchildren. Bob is retired now and he and Diane reside in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.
