After graduating from High School, George joined the U.S. Air Force and served for four years. While in the Air Force and stationed at Homestead Air Force base in Florida he met Sandra Simon and they married in 1960. George worked as a computer programmer for thirty-seven years and worked his way up to becoming Program Manager for the School Department of West Palm Beach, Florida. George and Sandy resided in Lake Clarke Shores, Florida and they have three children and five grandchildren. George and Sandra were happily married for thirty-nine years until his passing on February 25, 1999.
